Collector Training & Certification
Universal Drug Screening Lab LLC provides a comprehensive online/web-based Urine Specimen Collector Training and Certification course which includes the monitoring of the DOT required mock collections. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a 5 year certification which can be used across all 50 states.
To be certified as a DOT urine specimen test collector, you must satisfactorily complete the course and the required 5 proficiency mock demonstrations.​
Course Information
The Urine Specimen Collector Training includes the online DOT Specimen Collector course plus FREE forms, CFR 49 part 40 regulations, testing materials, 5 year certification, and the monitoring of the DOT required mock proficiency demonstrations.

Course Training:
* Knowledge about Part 40 collection procedures
* All the steps necessary to conduct a proper collection
* How to properly fill out a federal collection form (Custody and Control Form or CCF)
* How to handle problem collections (shy bladder, attempts to tamper, etc.)
* Information about fatal and correctable flaws in collections and collection paperwork.
* The collector's responsibility for maintaining the integrity and credibility of the collection process,
privacy, and specimen security.
